about

The third entry in Dub-Stuy's Dubplate 7" series commemorating our events is a New York City celebration featuring friends and family pressed to mark the Deadly Dragon Sound 25th Anniversary celebration, which took place on June 3rd, 2017.

This 7" features a special unreleased recut of the classic Cuss Cuss riddim by Dub-Stuy's DJ Madd, a track with a special local resonance after it was first given a NYC twist by Massive B 20 years ago. The NYC All-Stars - aka local veterans Red Fox, Screechy Dan, Jonny Go Figure, Yami Bolo - take turns on side A to celebrate Deadly Dragon and the city's scene while side B features the VIP of the riddim.

Only 120 copies of this yellow 7" exist. Both tracks were mastered, cut and pressed at Stereodisk Studio. Once they're gone, they're gone. No digital. No repress.
