about

Dub-Stuy Records continues its Dubplate 7" series with the first of 2019 in collaboration with the DC based label Grand Ancestor. The limited edition 7", featuring a meeting of dub minds between label regular Bukkha and Sweden's Blue Hill, was pressed for the second installment of Brooklyn Dub Club, which took place on February 15, 2019.

Side A sees Blue Hill refix Bukkha's collaboration with Brother Culture, Obliterate, which featured on the Obliterate SP back in 2017. The Swedish crew smoothers the track in sub and bolsters the rhythm track for a straight skanker!

On the flip side Bukkha takes on Blue Hill's 2017 release for Grand Ancestor, Natty Natty, twisting it up into a relentless steppers vibe.

150 copies of this red 7" exist. Both tracks were mastered, cut and pressed at Stereodisk Studio. Once they're gone, they're gone. No digital. No repress.
